Terminal Data, Charts, and Signals Guide

DATA is the focused market-analysis workspace. It keeps the selected ticker visible while you adjust chart context and inspect the available signals for that instrument. Chart controls • Ticker: selects the instrument used by the chart and related DATA cards. • Timeframe: changes the bar interval used for the displayed chart. • Range: changes how much history is shown. A longer range can take more time to load. • Chart type: changes the visual representation when the control is available. • High Levels and Low Levels: show the system’s visible level guidance on the chart. They are reference overlays, not automatic orders. • ZDEX: shows the Terminal’s named directional context on the chart when available. • ZMA: shows the Terminal’s named moving reference when available. • Drawing tools: let you mark up the chart for your own review. Drawings are visual notes, not broker instructions. Selecting, editing, and deleting chart drawings In a live Terminal chart, click Pan in the chart toolbar before selecting an existing drawing, including a Long or Short Position planning drawing. Then click the drawing. Long and Short are placement tools for creating a new plan; they do not select an existing one. After selecting a Long or Short plan, drag its body to move it, drag its visible target or stop handle to adjust that level, or click Position settings to edit the plan. To remove only that item, keep it selected and click the toolbar’s ✕ button labelled “Delete selected drawing.” If nothing is selected, that same button is labelled “Clear all drawings” and clears all chart drawings, so select the intended item first. Editing or deleting a plan does not place or cancel a broker order. Shared chart presentations are read-only; return to the live Terminal chart to edit. Zuby AI can explain these steps but cannot change chart drawings through chat. Changing one control can start a new data request. Keep the symbol, timeframe, and range fixed while you compare candles or signal cards. If you change several controls quickly, the Terminal may show a loading or refreshing state while it confirms the newest selection. Fast first paint and full candle history The chart prioritizes an early first paint so you can begin reviewing it sooner. Recent candles may appear first while the rest of the requested candle history loads in the background. An early chart, live quote, or open connection does not mean the full range is ready. Let the chart finish filling its candles and settle its loading/readiness state before relying on the complete pattern, levels, or indicators. Avoid rapidly changing the symbol, timeframe, or range while the history is loading. Do not make a decision based on partial chart history. Reading the chart safely The chart is a view of market history and current updates, not a promise of future movement. A forming candle can change before it closes. A level or marker can be revised when the Terminal receives a more complete market update. Use the timestamp, selected timeframe, and visible freshness state before making comparisons. Signals panel The Signals panel lists the signal cards available for the selected symbol and plan. A card can show a direction, a confidence or quality context, a timeframe, a timestamp, and an explanation or state label. Read the full card before acting; a direction by itself is not a complete trade plan. Typical signal states include: • Live or current: the Terminal has a recent usable update. • Refreshing: the prior result remains visible while a new result is requested. • Data frozen: the connection exists but a new signal payload has not arrived within the expected interval. • Unavailable: the Terminal cannot confirm a usable result. • Plan required: the feature is not included in the current plan. If a signal is delayed, do not infer a new signal from an old marker. Check the timestamp and use the panel’s Retry or refresh action. A signal card can be ready while the chart is still loading, or the chart can be ready while signals remain unavailable. High Levels, Low Levels, ZDEX, and ZMA These named overlays are displayed when their data is available for the selected symbol and context. Use the legend and the current chart settings to confirm which overlays are visible. If an overlay is missing, check its toggle, symbol, timeframe, plan access, and loading state. Do not substitute an unrelated line or prior-symbol overlay for a missing current value. Premarket and extended sessions Premarket context can appear in the Analysis area and on supported chart views. Session labels matter: premarket, regular session, and extended-session information are not interchangeable. If a premarket card says it is computing, allow it to finish or use its Retry action. If it says unavailable, continue with confirmed chart data instead of treating an old value as current. Quotes and percentages The displayed quote and daily percentage depend on the selected instrument and the latest confirmed source. A percentage may remain blank while the Terminal waits for a valid day baseline. This is safer than deriving a daily change from an arbitrary historical window. Loading and recovery 1. Confirm the ticker, timeframe, and range. 2. Wait for the first chart snapshot. 3. If the chart remains blank, use the chart refresh or reselect the symbol once. 4. If the chart has candles but an overlay is missing, check that overlay’s toggle and plan state. 5. If several DATA cards are frozen, reload the Terminal and check the connection state. 6. If only one asset fails, verify that the symbol is supported and retry after a short pause. On mobile, controls may wrap into a compact toolbar. Scroll the chart area horizontally or vertically when the device layout indicates more controls, and use the active panel’s expand or collapse control where present.
